| The above tubing was purchased from the supermarket at £3.00 in July 2008 and cut into six lengths the width of the tackle tray. Use a sharp kitchen knife and this will cut the tube without any problem. 50p for each rig winder holding approximately six rigs. This left a small tube left over. The tubing above is sold as a swimming aid for children to use in the swimming pool which makes it great for adding fishing rigs as the hooks are easy inserted and removed and is sold in different colors. The foam tube floats even when full of your rigs approximately six rigs to a tube. |

| The above is a 1 up 1down flatfish rig with small hooks and attractor beads removed from a clear wallet. As you can see this rig is already tangled up. |

| With the use of some needlework pins above. Attach one end of the rig with the pin to the tube. |

| Wind the rig around the tube ensuring you do not pull to tight. When the hooks come around push the tip of the hook into the tube enough to secure the hook this will not blunt the hook. When the end of the rig comes round secure again with a pin. This is your rig ready for future use. |
| The rig winder can be used in three ways. 1. Put all the same type of rig on one tube and mark the end of the tube with ink what is on the tube. 2.
Put a selection of rigs onto three tubes that fit in the above fishing
box tray that will be used on that fishing trip. This will change
depending on weather conditions, species, time of year. 3.
Put your rigs onto two tubes and put a selection of hook sizes with
line attached on the third tube this way select the rig for the
conditions and the hook for the bait to be used. Knowing
that when you get to the fishing location and decide what rig to use
and size of hooks that the rig will unwind easily even in windy
conditions without tangles. |
